The Opportunity 

 

We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Business Development (BD) Lead to expand our presence in Ukraine and to increase our sales, and enhance our direct support of Ukrainian drone manufacturers. The BD Lead will work with an Application Engineer to sell samples to potential customers, and facilitate the successful demos of our radios to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government acquisition processes and a solid understanding of Ministry of Defense (MOD) operations. 

 

Competitive compensation for this position will be a combination of a base salary and commission. 

 

Key Objectives: 

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase demand for our technology among end users, thereby boosting sales to drone OEMs. 

  • Build a targeted Ukrainian drone manufacturer list and establish a robust Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. 

 

Scope of Work: 

  • Create a comprehensive Ukrainian Drone Manufacturer Target List, including a list of all key Government / MOD branches, programs, and stakeholders. 

  • Identify and engage with engineers, stakeholders, and decision-makers at drone manufacturing companies to have them evaluate and ultimately adopt our radio technology. 

  • Identify and engage with engineers, stakeholders, and decision-makers in the Government / MOD who manage budgets and set requirements for various programs. 

  • Develop tailored GTM strategies for each identified company and program to enhance market penetration. 

  • Ensure our technology is known by the right people through strategic networking and marketing. 

  • Prepare and utilize sales materials such as case studies and field & operational reports to support sales efforts. 

  • Aim to feature our technology in demonstrations with key stakeholders and decision-makers.  

 

Ideal Candidate Profile: 

  • Has firsthand operational experience that can speak to the benefit of the technology to the warfighter. 

  • General knowledge of MOD or government acquisition processes. 

  • Possesses an existing drone manufacturer and/or government network to leverage for business development activities. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak authoritatively on our technology's operational applications.
